Communion with the Divine Persons (Ephesians 1 & Selected Scriptures)

This sermon teaches that salvation is the unified work of the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who share one essence, will, and purpose, acting inseparably in every divine work, especially redemption: the Father initiates salvation in eternal love and election, the Son accomplishes it through His incarnation, obedient life, and atoning death, and the Spirit applies it by regenerating, sealing, and assuring believers of their inheritance in Christ (Ephesians 1). Because the Trinity never acts as a divided partnership or mere cooperation, believers are called not only to understand this doctrine rightly but to pursue vibrant, personal communion with each distinct Person of the Godhead, knowing that fellowship with one necessarily draws the active presence and joy of all three, resulting in deeper worship, assurance, and transformation in the Christian life.
