VBS 2026
Join us for the 2026 VBS — The Great Jungle Journey
Dates: June 22 - 26 Time: 9 am – 12 pm Who: Preschool – Fifth Grade
It’s a jungle out there! In a world full of competing stories about where we came from, why things are broken, and how it all ends, our kids need to know that God’s Word speaks to every part of reality—from the first page to the last.
With this VBS, your kids will sail along on an epic jungle cruise from Genesis to Revelation, stopping at seven ports of call—the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Along the way, they’ll discover how the Bible’s big story connects to their everyday lives and learn the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Summer Youth Camp 2026 | Sun Valley Church
July 27–31, 2026 | Cascades Camp & Conference Center, Yelm, WA
DETAILS
Cost: $390 per student
Deposit: $100 due at registration to secure your spot
Registration Deadline: July 10, 2026
Duration: 5 days, 4 nights (Monday–Friday)
Lodging: Separate areas for boys and girls, all air-conditioned with bathrooms
Meals: Family-style dining — fresh, homemade meals served daily
Camp Store: Coffee shop, snack shack, and camp store open daily 1–5 PM
Waterfront: Available daily with 5 lifeguards on duty. Swim test required for all students.
TEACHING
Series: “Abide” — John 15
Speaker: Pastor Zac Clark
Format: 4 general sessions (evenings) and 3 breakout sessions (mornings)
Each session walks through what it means to abide in Christ as a branch connected to the vine — rooted in grace, sustained by his Word, shaped by pruning, and marked by fruit.
ACTIVITIES
Each day includes organized games and events for the whole group. Day games include team games, team water games, and The Showdown Cup. Night games include Leader Hunt & Krog, The Camp Theater, and a Lip Sync Showdown. During free time, students can choose from optional activities including the Sunset Park Adventure Course, a basketball tournament, and a zipline. The campsite also has a waterfront, high ropes course, and sauna available throughout the week.

Baptisms
Christian baptism by immersion (Acts 8:36-49) is the solemn and beautiful testimony of a believer showing forth his faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior, and his union with Him in death to sin and resurrection to a new life (Romans 6:1-11). It is also a sign of fellowship and identification with the visible Body of Christ (Acts 2:41-42). Do you believe Christ Jesus is God and died for your sins? If so, you need to be baptized. Contact the church office at office@sunvalleychurch.org or 509-965-6800 to schedule an appointment to speak with a pastor.
