Putting Sin to Death, Part 2 (Colossians 3:5)

Sermon Focuses:

a.       The importance of condition (“If you”) - The uncertainty versus the certainty. If you do this, you’ll obtain that.

b.       The people in focus - Those who have been raised with Christ (3:1). We will see the connection between who we are in Christ and the promise and path to victory.

c.       The primary agent – the Holy Spirit. We will learn how the HS actively works within us in cooperation with us to accomplish spiritual growth.

d.       The duty stated – We will discovers exactly what it means to kill sin and how to do it!

e.       The promise given – “You will live!” That sounds really good to me. But you will see that killing sin is actually life-giving to your daily walk with Jesus.
