“I Am Coming Soon” - Was Jesus Premillennial? (Revelation 3:10-11 and Selected Scriptures)
This sermon examines Jesus’ promise “I am coming soon” in Revelation 3:10–11 and argues that it supports a pretribulational rapture and a premillennial return of Christ, teaching that Jesus will remove His church before a future, seven‑year Great Tribulation and later return to establish a literal, physical millennial reign on earth. Drawing from Revelation, Daniel, Jeremiah, and other New Testament passages, the sermon explains what the church teaches, why it holds these views (based on a consistent literal–historical–grammatical hermeneutic), and why it matters for faithful Bible interpretation, emphasizing that God will literally fulfill His promises, vindicate His persecuted saints, and reign visibly as King over all the earth.
